Responsibilities

Long Description :
Accountant, Payroll Staff Jobsite
Basic Function :
This position is to execute National Staff Payroll, processing and payments for PTFI at jobsite to implement payroll program in line with management policy and Tax Law.

Job Responsibility :
1. Prepare and process monthly salary for PTFI National Staff at Jobsite employee accurately and transfer/deposit
to the bank timely in order to satisfy the customers.
2. Prepare and Process regular/irregular bonuses and termination payments if any for PT. FI national staff, accurately and timely.
3. Prepare and process the monthly payroll journal for PT. FI national staff with minimum amount of error allocation and in a timely manner to meet the monthly accounting closing schedule.
4. Prepare and process monthly accrual & allocation journals (i.e. THR, KPI and Payroll Overhead) for PTFI national staff accurately and on a timely basis to meet monthly accounting closing schedule.
5. Prepare DUMTK report and Jamsostek payment for PT FI Jobsite staff employees accurately and on a timely manner to meet the G.O.I schedule.
6. Prepare monthly activity report of Compensation and Benefit for Jobsite Staff employees with the proper data to support supervisor making the financial information to Senior High Level.
7. Investigate any complaints from employee or Department and resolve the problem i.e. missing bank account, basic salary, etc. to inform related department of the factual.

The key challenges in this position include:
° Reconcile monthly salary and bonuses.
° Reconcile all payment data of compensation and benefit on
monthly basis.

Dimensions:
° Minimized system & human error.
° Dealing with employees for their personal benefit.
° The hardest part in this job is that payroll processing in any payroll system depends on personal data input into peoplesoft. When data updated in peoplesoft (input by HRD) is not correct, employee will not properly calculated.
° Time to transfer salaries to remote area in Java or other city in Indonesia — a potential employee problem with many different kind of employee’s character.
° Meet deadline ——– system failure and inter-
dependant.

Requirements

Minimum Education and Experience
° Bachelor degree in Accounting/Economics/Management with 0 – 3 years experience in payroll and taxation or equivalent
experience.

Core Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Characters)
° Must be familiar with PC system.
The key areas in which you have decision-making responsibility are:
° Process salary and bonus of all staff employees correctly.
° Deposit monthly salary and bonuses into the banks on time.
° Confidentiality.
